who,
after residing in Chocolate City (i.e., Washington, DC), for several
years, recently decided to pull up roots and move
to the burbs of Hot-tlanta.

My current life situation exists of
learning the ins and outs of my new home and all that comes with it,
while navigating the world of the “Solo-Prenuer”, (and LOVING every
minute of it)!
As an ‘emotional’ poet, I rarely – if ever
– shared my work. I felt that by doing so, I was exposing “Pieces of Me”, and as the adage goes - Everything isn't for everyone. Within the past few months, I was lead to share my poetry, on a broader scale, in
the hopes that anyone seeing/reading these works, would find what they needed. Whether that "what" is acceptance, or solace,
or understanding, or acknowledgement of their hurt and pain, my ultimate prayer is that these words can be used as either the catalyst of or as an inclusion during your healing/growth
process.
This blog will also be used to share thoughts, quotes, sayings, scriptures, pictures, videos...essentially anything that I am lead to share, that will give someone peace, hope, clarity, vision and comfort.
There will be "Pieces of Me" that will be raw and may make the reader uncomfortable. I share those as I have come to accept and acknowledge that we, (that's you and I), cannot experience growth while remaining in our comfort zone. Each of us has to be willing and able to step outside of the neat little box that we've placed ourselves in, in order to fully embrace and walk in the PURPOSE DRIVEN EXISTENCE that YAH has for each of us.
